Blessing of the Animals Pictures
Sunday, October 9th at 3pm at the Church
Come study Paul’s letter to the Romans, an inspiring element to Luther’s entering the “open gates of paradise,” Calvin’s reformed life, Wesley’s ”warmed heart” and personal charisma, Augustine’s “serenity infused” heart and passionate faith, Barth’s theological mind and to millions of Christians understanding the Bible and the gospel.
We will begin the study of Romans on Sunday September 4th at 9:15 in the Parish Hall. All are welcome. It could be life changing!
“Every Christian should know Romans word for word, by heart, and occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul.” Luther

The doors of our church are open to anyone wishing to be included in a faith communitythat seeks to love the Lord and others, as we have been loved by God.
Elizabeth City, NC refers to itself as the Harbour of Hospitality. Church of the Redeemer serves as a spiritual harbour of hospitality for all who come through its doors. We hope that the same hospitality God shows to us in Jesus Christ overflows to all who visit the church and to the wider community.
Jesus’ invitation urging people to “Come” echoes in all of the services and ministries at Church of the Redeemer. Jesus explained to his followers that whatever we do to even the least of our brothers and sisters we do unto him. By serving each other, other Christians and those in the world that God is calling, we believe we are feeding Jesus, clothing Jesus, healing Jesus, visiting Jesus and blessing Jesus everyday.
We believe the greatest hospitality we can show to people is to lift Jesus up that He might draw all to Himself.
You are invited, welcomed and encouraged to come and experience Jesus’ love in our spiritual home.
