Vacation Bible School / Parents’ Morning Out

Have a morning out and let your children enjoy learning about God through the prophets this summer at Church of the Redeemer

VBS will run on Thursday mornings 9am to noon from Thursday July 12th to Thursday August 9th.

Children will enjoy Bible stories and teachings, songs, crafts and snacks. You can register your children now by calling 252-337-7177 or emailing redeemercamden@gmail.com

Taking it to the Streets — Sunday June 10th — Join Us!

On June 10th, we will be taking church “to the streets.” We will have a joint service at 9am that is similar to our 8am service, and then we will disperse to missional projects in the community where we will share Jesus’ love and gospel. This event will build relationships in the church and community. Neighbors and friends are welcome to participate.

Please sign up for an activity. Some are still being worked out and determined: Planned Activities so far: *Kindred Care Nursing Home Visit after the service *Baking Bread & Delivering it to the Home Bound and/or friends not attending church (visiting & praying with them) *Worshiping & Serving with our Brothers & Sisters at New Sawyer’s Creek Baptist Church in Camden. Their service is 11am – 1pm. We will provide food for them after the service. *Hope Line activity (TBD) *Prayer at Marina Park (group of folks praying for anyone who needs it) *A Youth Outreach (TBD)

A Prayer Before the Cross

We adore you O Christ, and we bless you, because by your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world. Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, while before Your face I humbly pray, and with burning soul ask You to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and love, true contrition for my sins and a firm purpose of renewal; With great sorrow and tender pity, I contemplate your five wounds and call to mind the words of David, the prophet: “They have pierced my hands and my feet; I can count all my bones” Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
